Get To Know Dan
I’m Dan Tigley, a husband, a father to two wonderful girls, and the person behind Tigley Electrical Services.
I was born and raised in Calgary by two hardworking parents. My dad showed me what it means to work hard and earn an honest living. Those lessons have stayed with me and shaped how I approach my work.
Choosing my family name as the company name was intentional. It means putting my name on the work I do and taking responsibility for the result. I want Tigley to be a name people associate with honest service and work they can trust.
I started in the electrical trade in 2013, gaining experience in residential service, commercial construction, and industrial fabrication. Today, I work with homeowners, local businesses, and general contractors on electrical repairs, maintenance, installations, and smaller renovation projects. You’ll deal directly with me, with clear communication about the scope, pricing, and schedule.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether we’re watching a Studio Ghibli film, walking our dog, Sky, at Sue Higgins Park or Fish Creek, or heading out for a family hike.
I’ve built Tigley around the kind of service I value: being approachable, following through, and taking care with the work. Whether I’m in your home, at your business, or on your jobsite, that’s the approach you can expect from me.
