I’m Dan, the owner and Master Electrician behind Tigley Electrical Services Ltd. I have been working in the electrical trade since 2013, building experience across several areas of the industry. I began in industrial fabrication, moved into commercial construction, and later worked as a foreman on projects such as new gas station builds, overseeing installations from underground services through distribution and final finishing. Over time, my work shifted more toward residential and commercial service, where I found a strong interest in helping homeowners and business owners solve real electrical problems.

I believe in doing electrical work the old-school way — clean installs, solid diagnostics, and standing behind the work. The trades reward skill, patience, and attention to detail, and those fundamentals guide how I approach every job.

I take a straightforward, personable approach with my customers. No upselling, no guessing, and no rushing through problems. Just honest work, clear communication, and practical solutions. Electrical issues can be stressful, and my goal is to bring clarity, confidence, and peace of mind every time I’m on site.

Strong fundamentals, respect for the trade, and pride in the work — that’s Tigley Electrical.

The Benefits of Hiring an Owner-Operator Electrician

Tigley Electrical is an owner-operated electrical service. When you hire an owner-operator, the electrician performing the work is also the person responsible for the business, the workmanship, and the final result. This structure creates several advantages for homeowners.

Direct Communication
You deal directly with the electrician performing the work. There is no sales staff, dispatcher, or project manager between you and the person completing the installation. This allows questions to be answered clearly and decisions to be made quickly.

Consistent Workmanship
Large companies often send different technicians to different jobs. With an owner-operator, the same licensed electrician handles the assessment, estimate, installation, and final testing. This consistency helps ensure the work is completed carefully and according to code.

Lower Overhead
Owner-operated businesses typically have fewer operating expenses than larger service companies. Without large office staff, fleets of vehicles, or heavy advertising costs, pricing can remain more moderate while still allowing the work to be completed professionally.

Personal Accountability
When the person performing the work is also the business owner, there is a strong incentive to ensure the installation is completed properly. Reputation and long-term customer relationships matter, and the work reflects directly on the individual performing it.

Choosing an owner-operated electrical contractor allows homeowners to work directly with a licensed professional who takes personal responsibility for the quality, safety, and reliability of the installation.
