Licensed Electrician in Southeast Calgary, Alberta
Tigley Electrical provides professional residential electrical services throughout Southeast Calgary, including Lake Bonavista, Acadia, Willow Park, Queensland, Shawnessy, and surrounding communities. As an owner-operated business, all work is completed by a licensed Master Electrician with a strong background in residential and commercial installations.
Services include panel upgrades, EV charger installations, troubleshooting, lighting, and dedicated circuits. Each project is completed with clear communication, straightforward pricing, and attention to detail to ensure safe, reliable results.
Step 1 — Submit a Request Service Form
Complete the Request Service form with your contact information and a short description of the work needed. This allows Tigley Electrical to review your request and schedule a visit to assess the installation conditions. You can expect a response within 24hrs.
Step 2 — Site Assessment
Electrical work cannot be accurately estimated over the phone or online. Every home has different wiring conditions, access limitations, and installation requirements. To provide an accurate price and proper scope of work, Tigley Electrical performs an on-site assessment before estimating most service work.
This visit also gives me an opportunity to introduce myself in person, look over the work together, and make sure we are a good fit to work with each other before moving forward.
Step 3 — Clear, Upfront Pricing
After the site assessment, Tigley Electrical prepares an estimate using a standardized pricing method. Estimates are developed using an internal labor rate together with industry-standard task durations commonly used across the electrical trade.
The internal rate is set to cover both personal income and the operating costs required to run the business. During the estimating process, installation conditions, access limitations, potential unforeseen issues, and overall project risk are also considered. This approach ensures pricing reflects the true scope of work while allowing the installation to be completed properly and professionally.
For smaller jobs, Tigley Electrical applies a minimum service charge. This covers travel, attendance, and the initial time required on site to diagnose or complete smaller tasks.
When multiple tasks are completed during the same visit, setup and travel time are shared across the work. This often allows larger service visits or small projects to be completed at a lower effective cost than individual service calls.
Step 4 – Final Invoicing
Once the work has been completed and reviewed with the customer, a final invoice will be issued for payment. The invoice provides a clear breakdown of the completed work for the customer’s records. Customers will never be billed more than the approved estimate.
Materials supplied by Tigley Electrical include a standard markup to cover sourcing, procurement time, warranty responsibility, and material handling.
Customers are welcome to supply their own materials if they prefer. However, this can sometimes introduce complications if products are purchased from online retailers or sources that do not specialize in electrical supply. In some cases, products may not meet Canadian certification requirements, may be missing components, or may not be compatible with the existing installation.
For this reason, Tigley Electrical typically recommends materials purchased through reputable local electrical wholesalers to ensure products are properly certified, compatible with the installation, and supported by manufacturer warranties.
All installations performed by Tigley Electrical are backed by a one-year workmanship warranty, covering defects related to the installation itself. Manufacturer warranties on supplied products apply separately according to the manufacturer’s terms.
“I look forward to meeting you and discussing your project.”
