Alberta Master Electrician Requirement

In Alberta, an electrical contractor must designate a certified Master Electrician. This requires journeyperson certification, verified industry experience, and successful completion of the Master Electrician examination.

This ensures all installations meet the Canadian Electrical Code and provincial safety standards.
